Process ensures delivery of right user experience

Products that perform online and make a high business impact follow a rigorous process. I'm a big advocate of following a tailored process for medium and large scale projects. I believe that's the only way to succeed as compared to starting things out of air.

User Centered Design (UCD) approach helps me to take care of all aspects of technology and people who will use your product. A good example is Property Frontiers project where following a process ensured easy maintenance and content management for multiple teams across the organisation. Another example is from Sapient where I was part of a large team (120 people) who used Agile methodology using their million dollar application development suite, ResultSpace.

UCD processes range from two months to many years encouraging iterative creation of prototypes and multi-disciplinary collaboration. In my current role at SThree, we follow Agile methodology and Extreme Programming (XP) with use of tools like Mingle.

In short, process is the lifeline of websites that intend to live and grow forever.

Shown below is a screenshot of the interactive process I created with UED team at Yahoo! to bring different disciplines together on same page.

Curious to discuss how we can work together. Don't be shy, contact me today.
